Service was lacking and slow but the dessert was amazing!! We appreciated that we could order online and pay online from our table. The menu has a great variety. We would go back to try more dishes and get more Honey Toast!!

Hidden gem in the little saigon area of the international district. This place is by far my top choice for taiwanese food (and dare I say top asian food in Seattle?!) This plaza is basically dead and their menu is pretty tiny. My favorite dishes were definitely the porkchop rice, popcorn chicken, and oyster pancake. I don't particularly feel qualified to say whether they were accurate and authentic portrayals of the dish, but I can certainly garuntee that I enjoyed them! No american express, but they do take master/visa credit cards! Can't wait to swing by for another visit soon!

This Strawberry Honey Toast was delish! Gotta try them if you haven't. Big enough to share with that special someone or family.

I had specifically came for the toast box after seeing all the praise and delicious-looking pictures. And it was indeed tasty! Single slice toast desserts are offered online for take-out but not the honey toast box as it has ice cream. ----- Chocolate Sensation Honey Toast: honey toast box with chocolate ice cream, chocolate shavings, Oreo cookie, rolled wafer, strawberry, banana slices, and drizzled with chocolate sauce ($14.95). The toast was much larger than I had expected, but that also meant it had proportionally more bread compared to the toppings. I liked how it incorporates a variety of toppings with both sweets and fruits. The toast box takes a while to make and I would have liked it more if it was a bit more toasted. ----- As for the other dishes, the prices on the menu seem rather good. I didn't try any of the entrees due to the mixed reviews, but perhaps next time.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and didn't need to wait at all. It was my first time going to this location (I've been to the one in Bellevue) but it is in a not so nice area of the International District. The bus stop in the front has a lot of homeless people so just a heads up if you're wary of that type of situation. HardWok is in a small plaza with a few other Asian restaurants and does have a small parking lot. We ordered the crispy rolls, Taiwanese cold noodles, boiled tofu, and the Chinese sausage in rice roll, as well as 2 drinks for about $40. Everything was pretty good and authentic! The boiled tofu and crispy rolls were my favorite from what I tried that day. I do wish the cold noodles came with chicken like they normally do at other restaurants. Additionally I was hoping they would have the traditional Taiwanese noodle soup that is available at the Bellevue location, but based on their menu, it is coming soon! I would definitely recommend coming in if you're craving Taiwanese food and in the Seattle downtown area as it is a great place for some usual Taiwanese snacks!

Cool Asian dessert place in Little Saigon that also serves boba and some savory bites. It's sort of in a sketchy area, but the cafe itself is mostly bright and clean. The staff here was really nice and friendly. I wasn't sure what to get since there were so many delicious looking options, but I ended up splitting a mango shaved ice with a friend. We made the right choice because the mango sherbert / ice cream on top of the shaved ice was insanely good. The shaved ice itself was just ok. The more I reached the bottom of the dessert, the less I wanted to eat it, so its final form was just a half-melted puddle of brown shaved ice. Our table also got a mini chocolate toast, which was super visually appealing (portrait mode eats first)! Also, the "mini" did not turn out to be quite so mini, but it's a proper backup if you can't commit to the full thing.

Little unassuming corner cafe right in front of a bus stop. I recommend you missing your bus to eat here. It's small and people mainly came in to order boba or a delicious looking dessert. You can but don't overlook the food! My friend showed me this spot and said it was like back home. Yup - authentic. I ordered the braised beef noodle soup. The bowl is humongous! It can be shared with 2 adults and 1 small child. The broth was full with hints of spice and had a robust depth of flavor. They didn't skimp on the beef. Big hearty slices of braised beef next to veggies and mustard greens. The pork belly burger packs a punch. Small in size but mighty for the taste buds. Oyster pancake is not the typical crunchy on the outside. It's chewy with egg and greens in the center. This was too much for one meal but take some to go and sharing is caring. I'm still so full but satisfied with that noodle soup!

HardWok Cafe has two location at Washington. One at Seattle Chinatown and the other at Bellevue. The actual name in Chinese is "street side little stop". They have full Taiwanese cuisine menu. However, we are not here for the Taiwanese cuisine. We here for their famous dessert. It take 20 minutes of wait to get it ready. The name is Strawberry Custard Honey Toast. The preparation includes bake the 6" X 6" square toast bread. That the reason why you need to wait for freshly made item. The toast is empty out in the middle and the middle toast is bake and soak in honey. This middle toast were pack to bottom then added the ice cream. The fruit is added for decoration. It is great to tear the wall and expose the inside. This is an item to share among friend. It is too big for one person. The presentation is beautiful. Very desirable. A good find in Seattle.
